Members are invited to join NGV curator Meg Slater for an exclusive introduction to French Impressionism, the 2025 NGV Melbourne Winter Masterpieces® exhibition that explores the timelessness of one of the most renowned movements in art history.
Presented by the NGV in partnership with the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the exhibition features more than 100 iconic paintings, including additional works never-before-seen in Australia.
This breathtaking display is one of the largest and most significant collections of French Impressionism ever to visit Australia, featuring works from Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Edgar Degas, and more.
Members can learn about the development and curatorial approach behind this major exhibition direct from an NGV curator, ahead of the exhibition opening.
Please note your ticket to this Members Talk does not include entry to French Impressionism, which opens at NGV International on 6 June. Exhibition tickets sold separately.
