This exhibition presents a superb collection of costumes and accessories from The Costume Institute of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. It presents fashion and costume as an expressive art from which mirrors the social changes of the periods represented. The exhibition includes the creations of such masters of fashion as Worth, Poiret, Chanel, Fortuny and Schiaparelli, whose designs reflect the enormous developments of our century.
